I Preparation before experiment

The research of ore beneficiablity is a kind of scientific experiment, which is of great significance to the development of mineral processing and actual production. A studying of prototype is made through a laboratory experiment of samples or models, and then scale it up gradually to actual production plant. Therefore, a wide range of exploration and research can be carried out with very little manpower and material resources, and the process plan can be selected quickly and reasonably, which can provide reliable basis for production and construction.

The clients should provide about 50Kg representative samples, or 200 to1000kg for some special samples. The simple test needs 30-60 working days, and the detailed test about half a year.

II Testing process

1. First we will analyze the material components including ore structure, mineral and types of ore and chemical properties like elements, the particle size screening, density, ore relative grindability of crude ore etc, and get some data for the subsequent beneficiation test.

2. Testers take the exploratory testing from experience at first to find the best solution for beneficiation and make more detailed analysis including grinding fitness, reagent dosage, open and closed circuit test, etc.. After obtaining the final products, testers should analyze them to get the recovery rate, and then take sedimentation test of concentrate and tailings as references of equipment selection.

III Test results (Exploration and Full Industiral Test)

After receiving the test samples according to the disciplines and operation request of laboratory test, on the basis of comprehensive analysis of samples (including spectral analysis, multi-element chemical analysis, mineral analysis, particle size analysis, etc.), multi-scheme technical flow structures and conditions tests shall be conducted and the optimized solution and technical indicators shall be determined, so as to provide the basis for the next step of plant design.

The final product of the test is to meet the sand product requirements,

That is:

Take the Iron Ore for example (Exploratory Test)

  1. Fe = 62-65%
  2. Silica+Alumina < 5%
  3. P+S < 0.1%
  4. Size: 200 mesh
