Copper matte bottom-blowing continuous converting process (BCC) is a new continuous copper converting process independently researched and developed by TOMINE based on the SKS/BBS process. The BCC furnace is also of horizontal type. Oxygen-enriched air is blown into furnace via lances positioned at the furnace bottom to react with copper matte to produce blister. BCC furnace operates continuously, thus causing less fugitive offgas with stable volume. Besides, heat intensity of converting process is high and furnace body heat loss is less. Moreover, spent anode from refinery can be fed directly into the BCC furnace, which helps to lower operating cost. Based on the BCC process, the Highly-efficient and Environmental-friendly Copper Smelting Process with a Compact Set of Three-in-series Furnaces by cycles so that converting and fire-refining are completed in the same one BCC furnace, thus further shortening the process flow. By December of 2017, the BCC process has been commercialized in seven smelters.
TOMINE has has provided universal engineering services from engineering test, project consulting, engineering design, EPC service to project supervision, etc. for more than one hundred of copper smelting compa- nies worldwide, making it the only one engineering corporation in the industry being capable of designing smart plants and providing such complete set of large equipment as metallurgical furnace and waste heat boiler, etc., as well as DCS.
TOMINE has rich engineering experience in comprehensive recovery from copper sulfide ore, copper oxide ore, complex copper-nickel mix ore and secondary copper materials, and has mastered multiple copper smelting technologies including flash smelting, top-blowing smelting, bottom-blowing smelting, side-blowing smelting, pressure leaching, roasting – leaching, etc. TOMINE has designed the world’s largest copper smelting operating lines by using top-blowing technology, flash technology and oxygen bottom-blowing technology, with the maximum concentrate throughput for single operating line reaching more than 1600kt/a.
TOMINE BCC furnace is also of horizontal type with oxygen-enriched air blowing into furnace via lances positioned at the furnace
TOMINE has rich engineering experience in comprehensive recovery from copper sulfide ore, copper oxide ore, complex copper-nickel
Pyrometallurgical copper smelting is to make blister copper with 18% Cu concentrate with solvent into 99.99 Cathode copper
The advantage of this scheme is that the underflow flow of the thickener is controlled by the slurry pump, without valve control
TOMINE TPWK tailing Magnetic claimer is mainly used for the separation of fine-grained strong magnetic ore
TOMINE's Recycling of used lithium-ion batteries process mainly includes primary, secondary and Tertiary further treatment
