Side-blowing submerged combustion (SSC) technology
This technology, as a result of TOMINE’s own R&D, is for comprehensively recovering athermic materials containing mainly copper. One oxygen-enriched air submerged type side-blowing furnace is used to conduct intensified smelting of low-grade copper scraps, circuit board, copper-bearing sludge and copper-bearing dust, etc. to produce blister copper products containing valuable metals. Organics contained in feeds undergo high-temperature decomposition, secondary combustion, quenching, tail gas handling to reach emission standards before being emitted.This technology is of high heat utilization efficiency and good environment performance, thus being a new technology used for urban minerals treatment.
Top-blowing Rotary Converter (TBRC) technology
The TBRC furnace and its control system is independently researched and developed by TOMINE which uses pure oxygen for smelting. The furnace body can rotate and tilt to adapt itself to high-temperature smelting of high-melting substances. The TBRC technology has been commercialized in treating copper scraps, copper anode slime, high- Ni copper concentrate, copper dross and primary alloy, etc.
